This is me Ján Bočínec (Google+), a developer engrossed in the world of publishing platform WordPress. WordPress is both my passion and my profession. Vladimír Gábor, Peter Nemčok and I run a Slovak community website WordPress Slovensko and a tech support forum (I contribute under the nickname JohnnyPea.). Here, we discuss, compare and debate not only the many aspects of this powerful CMS but also a broad range of other issues related to the internet and information technology in general.

We operate under the brand name of webikon.sk that houses all our projects and ensures smooth communication with our customers seeking help with building and running their website, web hosting, SEO or marketing. While returning competitive rates we always do our best to understand and meet each customer’s specific needs. Our goal is to ensure that the website meets all your requirements and yet has transparent and valid code.

I develop WordPress plugins and themes. I program plugins that are tailored to the specific needs of one website, as well as plugins for broadly applicable functionalities. You can follow my activity stream on my WordPress.org’s profile page. Moreover, I can turn your PSD graphics into a high-quality WordPress theme or a HTML template. I also devote a lot of my time to website optimization, and provide expert advice, consulting and analysis.

I now primarily program in PHP and I’m familiarizing myself with Nette Framework as well. Expert skills in HTML and CSS are a sure thing. I’m a big fan of jQuery and I use Java Script on a daily basis. I support a credo that there is no animation or functionality where Java Script fails to replace Flash. I create easy-to-use websites with appealing design and interesting functionality.
